Who's to blame for the bloody awful weather?

Benedict - Metro

January 2010

‘Martin points out that this was the coldest winter in recorded history. “People will discover the tissues I used in icecaps for years to come,” says Benedict.’

Martin: “We’re going to be in Bristol tomorrow doing exteriors, and I think it will be freezing. I don’t know whether it’s actually snowing in Bristol at the moment, but either way it will be very, very cold and it will be hard - because we’re doing nights as well.”

Wot, so it can be freezing in the summer also? No, thank you!

Thanks for posting this picture, sweetie. I don't know what I like more, the unprecedented combination of those manly dress shoes with that sparkling white teen miss fluffy ski parka, or the reminder of how much Victorians liked using wrought iron phallic objects in their fencing. Also: nose wrinkles. He looks mildly Bajoran.

Well, no, they only seem to affect the winter - when they filmed series 2 in the summer it wasn't bad at all!

Benedict Cumberbatch - a Bajoran in a black dress. Well, if anyone can pull that off, it's Ben!

No, no, no ... *sticks fingers in her plotbunny's ears and sings loudly to it*

Don't you dare make adorable suggestions like that!

I just really hope Benedict doesn't get sick this time around!

Loved him talking about the tissues, and looking at the pictures of snow in Wales I did wonder whether they were yet (stuck) in Cardiff!! Seems it's Bristol instead!

Still, it's a gorgeous picture if only for the contrast between black and white.

Oh no. His face. It says to me: "Look, I have to wear it, but you have to look at it, now what's worse?" :-D
