Sherlock - JW the fuck is this
I was interviewed for the latest edition of the Three Patch Podcast, talking about all the hows and whys and wherefores of transcribing episodes of Sherlock. If you’re interested, you can listen to it here. My interview starts at around 44:15. (Other interviews and chat are available.)

Really great interview Ariane! Thanks for sending me the link at work today.

It was obvious how much care you put into making sure the transcripts are as accurate as possible and what you do to bring them to life.

You got a fantastic introduction and your interview lived up to the billing!

Simple message to fans-listen to the interview- NOW!

Aww, thank you, sweetie! I was surprised at how much I enjoyed doing the interview, and wasn't nearly as nervous as I thought I would be.

Thanks for taking the time to listen to it!

It's lovely to hear your voice! You know what I really loved in this interview? I understood almost every one of your words and I didn't even have the transcript. :D You have a nice voice and a very good elocution, and you say really interesting things, and I spent a very good moment. Thank you again for your hard work! Also, see you at Christmas time! ;-)

Thank you, honey. I kept telling myself for hours before Emma called me, "Talk slowly!" because I was convinced that otherwise I might start babbling. I'm glad that I came across clearly, but good grief I really did ramble on in response to some (most) of the questions!

I didn't even have the transcript

*giggles* I did wonder if anyone was going to ask me to transcribe my own interview so that they could understand it!

see you at Christmas time!

I took in a huge breath just then and was about to squee loudly, but then I realised you probably mean "see you online, posting the episode transcript." But for one glorious moment I thought you meant you were coming to London at Christmas. *pouts* Now I should take industrial action and refuse to write the transcript unless you're staying at my place and urging me on.

Or you should come in the summer to get me warmed up ready for Christmas. *tantalisingly waves Hamlet tickets under your nose*

Yes, I meant "see you at your LJ". Because, you see, I don't have to go to your place to urge you on doing the transcripts. Someone *looks at you meaningfully* introduced me to the Nudge A Friend Button once and I won't be afraid tu use it. Ha!

P.S. Rambling is good! You can even say it was a homage to Benedict. :D

I heard your podcast, very awesome!! :-) Now we have a voice to put to the words. :-) And I gotta say, I love it that you're a Stargate fan as well, SG-1 is my other favorite show. :-) I would marry Daniel Jackson in a heartbeat. X-)

Thanks for listening!

Ah yes, I was a Stargate fan (and transcriber) for many years. I cried for hours after transcribing the final episode of Universe.

And okay, you can have Daniel, as long as I can have Rodney.

Thank you! I really enjoyed doing the interview and wasn't nearly as terrified as I thought I'd be.

I'm not sure I'm pleased about not having to do another transcript for a long time - I'd much rather sit up for hours if they would only give me a reason to do so!
